Licensed NY Cannabis Cultivators Licensed NY Cannabis Cultivators Walden, NY Walden, NY Full-time Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year $70,000 - $80,000 a year Director of Manufacturing We are a licensed New York cannabis production company seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead several production teams at our facility.
The Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day cannabis manufacturing operations including bulk material processing, trimming, packaging, pre-roll production, and more.
The right candidate will have experience working in the regulated cannabis industry and will be hardworking, organized, and able to manage both time and people.
The right candidate will also be willing and able to multi-task and deal with frequent interruptions, as this is a fast-paced start-up environment, and they will be required to engage with numerous team members across departments.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring all manufacturing work orders are filled on time Deploying and managing several small teams of production personnel on various projects and within a timely manner Training new and existing team members on all aspects of cannabis products manufacturing Ensuring all team members follow standard operating procedures and quality assurance and control programs Monitoring and reporting potential safety concerns to management Managing completion and retention of all required records including manufacturing protocols and batch records Ensuring all data is properly and timely entered in company resource management software Collaborating with the Compliance Department to ensure all production obligations, including recordkeeping, are met as required by New York cannabis laws and regulations Coordinating with purchasing and marketing teams to ensure timely supply of needed packaging materials Identifying operational efficiencies and cost-reduction strategies within the manufacturing department Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment errors and managing related maintenance and repairs Coordinating inbound and outbound material transfers between facility locations and cannabis licenses Identifying, recommending, and updating management on needed facility installations and repairs
Qualifications:
Required Experience working in the regulated cannabis industry Experience manufacturing cannabis consumer packaged goods Experience using cannabis resource management and/or seed-to-sale tracking software Driver's license Computer proficiency (Mac or PC) Ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to quickly pivot between projects English fluency - written and spoken Transportation to and from our facility in Walden, NY Desired Bachelor's Degree
2 years relevant experience OR 4 years relevant experience Experience working in cannabis extraction Strong interest in or passion for cannabis or the cannabis industry Spanish fluency - written and spoken Flexible schedule Start Date:
ASAP.

Schedule:
Full time, M-F 8-6
some weekend and evening hours when under deadline.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
