3K a year We are hiring a Taproom Coordinator at Angry Orchard in Walden, NY.
The Tap Room Coordinator (TRC) is responsible for providing leadership to the tap room team in day-to-day operations.
Their number one priority is directing our team in their mission of providing superior hospitality, food and drink service, and imparting a heap of brand knowledge to our team and guests in collaboration with Angry Orchard Cidery leadership.
In this role you will observe and manage guests' enjoyment of cider while in our company, manage and provide leadership on the floor and day-to-day operations including open and closing shifts, resolve and/or escalate coworker and guest issues, and successfully manage the sales and upkeep of our retail business.
What You'll Brew:
Act as primary floor manager for all FOH teams during day-to-day operations in the Tap Room.
Responsible for daily financials as needed, to include Daily Cash Count, authorizing and logging Petty Cash transactions, prepping bank deposits, making change at the bank, counting out daily drawers, and both counting and logging cash tips.
Responsible for driving sales of our retail and bars through inventory management, product placement, merchandising, identifying sales initiatives, stocking and receiving, and as requested, communication and reporting on item performance Maintaining quality standards in the Taproom including product education, adhering to customer service standards, and conducting training for both new and ongoing staff Coordinate with Keyholders on proper training practices for new Team Members and the dissemination of pertinent information Works with other TCC/TRC's in cross-training and support of departments as needed for coverage, events, and collaboration through changing seasons Responsible for the daily operations in the Taproom, including opening and closing the taproom, conducting pre-shift meetings, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring all daily/ongoing checklists are completed in full, teaching proper pouring techniques, maintaining room capacities, and overseeing the safety of our guests and coworkers through proper serving policies, managing and escalating incidents Support internal customers as needed:
Brand, Training, Sales and other departments with meetings, events, and a variety of other functions at the Tap Room.
Enforce safety protocols daily including conducting and supporting required safety trainings Provide customer service in the Retail and bar areas as needed.
Responsible for focus on continuous improvements related to efficiencies in traffic flow, customer service and retail sales Manage physical inventory process through month end counts and signing out Retail beer and keg sales as needed.
Report any violations of AOC Code of Conduct or Safe-Space Policies to Manager on Duty promptly Assist Leadership Team with the planning and/or execution of various events and space rentals at the Taproom as needed Communication with BBC retail team as needed Coordination with kitchen, cellar, and/operations, as needed, including inventory support, and cider releases What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Qualifications:
Must be able to lift a weight equivalent to one case of beer.
Regular schedule will be 5 weekly shifts which includes nights, holidays, weekends, and limited PTO during the peak fall and summer season.
Minimum 1 year experience in Hospitality Services Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in an organized, detail-oriented manner Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment and under time constraints and deadlines Prior experience in hospitality and/or retail sales desired Some Perks:
