Job Description We are currently hiring Sr Cidery Ambassadors at Angry Orchard Cidery in Walden, NY.
This Sr.
Cidery Ambassador is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the tour center:
opening/closing, cash drawers, retail and inventory assistance, public, private, and VIP tours, assisting in private events, responding to and managing general tour request emails, and periodic off-site events.
This is a leadership role that supports the Sr Tour Center Coordinator and Tour Center and Facility Manager.
The Senior Brewery Ambassador is the lead for end of day closing responsibilities and anchors the team on high volume shifts including weekends, holidays, and special events as well as filling in when STCC is not available.
What You'll Brew:
Educate drinkers on our facility, cider, and our R&D with specialty tours, experiences and events Manage overall customer service and respond to general tour request emails General open and closing duties (cash drawer, donations, checking inventory and prepping tour center) Responsible for managing CA shifts and scheduling, including days off requests Serves as lead delegating tasks, managing floor, receiving shipments Responsible for the overall upkeep of the tour center, tasting room, gift shop, and outdoor spaces Work with the STCC to setup up displays, promotions, and announcements in the tour center Assist with the monitoring of tours for accuracy Assist in monthly inventory (dry goods and shop) Aid in the education and training of new employees and the continuing education of CA's Responsible for reporting CA labor hours, guest attendance weekly as well as other financial numbers as requested by STCC Assist STCC with planning and booking events and entertainment as needed Update calendars and send reminder emails STCC/TCFM and Cider Makers of VIP tours and sales visits Help in various marketing, tour center and brand related projects as needed including requests from social media team including Participation in off-site events including festivals, community events and other promotions Responsible for a variety of strategic projects and marketing initiatives as assigned by STCC/TCFM Maintain safe working environment for all Cidery employees and communicate maintenance needs to STCC Document and report incidents to STCC, TCFM Work with weekend security to control crowd flow and guest issueWhat Ingredients You'll Bring:
