Ink Technician

Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Dispense all required inks for jobs being run on presses daily
To make sure all inks are properly QC'd before leaving Ink Room
Assist operators when adjusting inks being run to maintain proper viscosity, color and PH
Maintain and file all required paperwork associated with dispensing and ink production
Color match required within date and time requested
To produce the very best color match possible to the customer
Maintain a clean and safe working area, lab and floor
Report to Manager any major problems that occurred during shift
Skills/Qualities Required:
Must be able to read and understand both verbal and written instructions
Must be able to see color
Understand the basic color spectrum and learn how to move it using both eye and Spectrophotometer
Computer literate
Able to handle containers weighing up to 500 lbs. using lifting equipment
Must be able to stand continuously for 8 to 12 hour shift
Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE
Work Environment:
Work primarily is indoors, is not climate controlled, with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection and safety shoes is a requirement. It will be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
